Easter Egg Hunt

Today was one of those days that I long for California. I think of all the complaining I did about the lack of seasons during our 3 years there and just laugh. What was I thinking!!

On a happier note Lydia was so excited for her first Easter Egg Hunt (I know, I'm a terrible mother), Addi on the other hand was more interested in throwing the fake grass around my car!! Once we got to the park though the happy faces turned into crying and runny noses when Addi and Ethan started to freeze, and Lydia and Kevin started to get impatient. After 20 minutes of waiting in 25 degree weather we finally grabbed our eggs and ran to the car!!

Birthday Girl

It has been such a wonderful week for our family.

It's hard to believe that our baby turned four!!! We had a "Princess" party with all her friends on Thursday then had a family party on Saturday. She is very excited about all the new adventures that being 4 will bring, especially about starting preschool this fall. She has grown-up so fast, her favorite things to do this past week are practicing addition and watching Star Wars with her daddy.

We also celebrated my 25th birthday by going to Dairy Queen with some of my girlfriends and their families. We have been so blessed by the friendships we have made this past year. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful, caring group of ladies!! You guys are great.

Hopefully by the end of the week John will have Lydia's BD party video ready so check back soon!

Jamaica

Well it only took two months but we finally got our Jamaica pictures together for everyones viewing pleasure. It was an amazing experience that we hope to one day repeat.
