Canon T1i
I have had a lot of extra time on the computer lately. What else can you do when you are holding a fussy baby 24/7?! The past few weeks my new obsession has been the newly released Canon T1i. I have wanted a SLR for a very, very long time and this one has everything I need (including a HD video option). So after much deliberation I have packed up my Canon S3 IS and my hard drive camcorder and am heading over to the National Camera Exchange to trade them for my new toy!! To make the deal even sweeter NCE offers four free classes when you purchase a camera through them (a $140 value). So not only will I have this amazing camera I'll know how to use it too. The only time John will get to see his kids the next 6 months is through occasional visits and pictures, so why not make the fantastic pictures ;)

Who's Baby Is This?
Don't ask me how but looking at these pictures I've realized that our little man may have some major red to his hair! Where is it coming from? Not that there is anything wrong with red hair, I just hope that it turns more blond as time goes on. Anyways, here are a few pictures of him in the high chair. He loves sitting in it and will sleep in it for hours if his big sisters would leave him alone. I just can't believe he's four weeks old already. Time is going by really fast.
On a totally different note we found out yesterday that John has to report to TBS on June 2nd. It is a lot earlier then we thought but that's just how it goes. I'm still having a hard time thinking about it with out getting emotional so I'll post more about it some other time.

Will He or Won't He?
Lots of people have been asking whether John will leave in June or September and the answer is...... I have no clue!! One of the lovely things about the Marine Corps is that things get done when it's best for the "greater good". Which means, when they get around to it. We are exactly one month out from John getting commissioned so we should of found out at the latest today, but no such luck. I am anxiously awaiting he's orders as is he. The thought of having him home all summer is very exciting but after being a Marine wife for 8 years I know better then to get too excited. That doesn't stop a girl from hoping though :)
As soon as I hear something I will let every body know.

Treston Johnathon
Here are a couple of pictures of our little guy. He was born on March 29th at 11:26 am after about 10 hours of labor (he was taking he's time). He weighed 7lbs 14 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. The girls are doing wonderfully with him. Addison has a complete come-apart when he cries and actually yelled at the doctor to be nice to her baby when he was getting a check up. Lydia loves to help anyway she can. She sat and held him for 15 minutes the other day.
We feel so blessed to have him in our family and can't wait to watch him grow.
