Missing Daddy

The girls have done really well since John left a month ago. We've had some tears from both, but they are being so strong. They're doing better then I am! Addison tells me everyday that she misses her daddy and wants to snuggle with him. Lydia is definitely missing the fun side of having John around. She just doesn't understand why I won't take them to the water park by myself. :)

Seriously! I have some cute kids!

I have been trying to learn how to use my camera in manual for a few months now and what a project it has been! I have sat over my computer for hours trying to figure it out (now you know what I do with the little free time I have while John is gone). Anyone who has learned to only shoot in manual understands my pain, but it is so worth it. Especially when I get shots of my girls like these.

Aren't they turning into beautiful little girls? It just makes my heart melt!

My Growing Boy

I swear this little guy changes every day. He's eating fruits & veggies and rolled over for the first time on Sunday. I missed it (I was taking a much need nap, thank you Kathy) but he's grandma and grandpa got to see it so I can't complain!!

Playing in the Sun

The girls have spent a lot of time out in the sun since we've been in Idaho. They spend most of their day outside playing in the water with Nana and Ta-Ta's dogs.

Potty Training

Not unlike most mothers, I hate potty training. It can be so frustrating trying to get the whole concept to click with toddlers. I have tried a couple of times with Addi. I haven't put much into it, always quick to give up. I had a array of reasons but truthfully I just haven't had the mental or physical energy to stick with it.

Well ladies and gentlemen, I have some fantastic news......Addi has pretty much gone and potty trained herself!! I know some of you are thinking, "How?? Can she teach my kid?" I have no clue how it happened. We have had her potty hanging around for a few weeks now, it's only function was dust collecting. Then the other morning she woke up told me she wanted to use her potty and that was it. She has been in underwear since. Even better, after one accident she's even pooping in the toilet!! She doesn't even tell me when she needs to go, she just walks over does her stuff and yells for me when she's done.

Am I lucky or what?!

Sprinkler Park

It was the perfect night. Sprinklers, slides, swings and pizza. What else could a kid ask for?

Kindergarten Screening

Lydia had her Kindergarten screening today and she did wonderfully. The teacher says she is doing very well and is ready for the first day of school.

I Love This Little Guy!

Yay! Treston slept from 10pm to 6am this morning!!!
