It's been an exhausting couple of days. We haven't done anything out of the ordinary but the past 48 hours have taken a toll on me. When John first leaves it always takes a few days of adjustment, for me and for the kids. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and I'll put my cape back on and resume my SuperMom duties.

It's ok to be jealous....

of my mad Adobe Illustrator skills! HaHa!

Really though, I can't explain to you all how bad I am at this program! I suck! I was lucky enough to get some funding through the DOD (military wives program) to go towards school. Since I'm in no position to start anything serious right now I thought it would be fun to learn some graphic design. I chose this specific program because it teaches you Photoshop CS3. Considering it's a $600+ program that I've been drooling over I figured it was a good deal. My pictures could use a little help with their WOW factor. First though I must suffer through the Illustrator program...and I mean suffer. It's just not my thing.

Hello Sun! We've Missed You!

Desktop

It is so beautiful out today we decided to take the kids to the beach after school. None of them have ever seen the ocean so it was amazing to see their faces light up. The girls loved it of course, Treston on the other hand wasn't so sure. The water is still pretty cold and I think he was a bit freaked out by the sand. We're going again tomorrow (love the 70+ weather), so hopefully he'll enjoy it a little more next time.

Messing w/ My Blog

I decided I hated my blog so I got a new template. I have no clue what I'm doing so please keep the giggles to a minimum when you check out my site for the next few days. I also lost ALL of my blog addresses so if you could leave me a comment or e-mail me with yours that would be great.

Fun with Dad

I'm so lucky to have a husband who is so involved in his kid's lives. He is always tickling, wrestling or snuggling with them. There is no doubt they'll grow up feeling loved. My only hope is that they remember all the special times when he's away, but that's my job to remind them. :)

Love You Babe!

Goodbye February

I have never been so happy for it to be a new month. February sucked! No other way to describe it. 90% of it I wish I could just forget. There were a few fun days in between the terrible ones, but very few! :) Our very close friends came down to surprise John for his 29th birthday which was a blast. I still can't believe John is going to be 30 next year! We also got to take the kids to a cool park that they loved (see post below). In between those two events there was lots of sickness. You name it, one of us had it.

Treston

My poor little guy has had the worst month. In 3 short weeks he has had pneumonia, croup, a horrid stomach bug, and now he has an ear infection and pink eye. Is that one sad looking kid or what?

Addison

As usual Addi is giving me a run for my money. It's a good thing she's cute! :) She is going stir crazy since we haven't been able to do much the past few weeks. We have big plans for Lydia's birthday this weekend so hopefully we'll get some of that energy out.

Lydia

Ms. Lydia has had a good month. I had a conference with her new teacher who said she is doing great. She's also been a huge helper around the house since I've had my hands full with Treston. We are all excited for her birthday next week. We are taking her to Chuck-e-Cheese and then she and I are going to go see the new Alice in Wonderland movie. I am hoping that it's not too scary but we can always leave and go shopping at the mall. :)

Johnny

John and I met 10 years ago on President's Day weekend. I have no clue where the time has gone. He is going to be leaving on the 21st for 6 weeks...sigh...I hate it when he leaves. John likes to think of it as practice for his next deployment but I'm still sad. Been there done that, I don't need practice. :)
