As many of you already know today was my first day in the Primary Presidency. It also was my first day teaching a lesson to a whole bunch of kids ages 4 to 11. It went pretty well, but I was nervous. I had no clue how to keep the little kids engaged or how to talk to 8 to 11 year olds.

Well I guess I didn't realize how nervous. Lydia had caught on and was telling me all day how excited she was. When class started Lydia offered to say the opening prayer. I am so used to hearing her say prayers, for a four year old she is incredibly insightful and definitely feels the spirit.

When she got up there she bowed her head and said, "Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for today. Please bless my mommy that she will have a fun day and have fun teaching us our lesson...". there was more but I don't remember.

Isn't that so sweet!?!

I'm sure you did great! I wish I was there in Primary to hear you rather than teaching the RS lesson about Zion. Lydia is very sweet and it makes me happy to see her wearing Emma's clothes to church. :)

I am excited for you! You will be so wonderful in primary. I am back and will not desert the Sunbeams again this Sunday.
