I have never been so happy for it to be a new month. February sucked! No other way to describe it. 90% of it I wish I could just forget. There were a few fun days in between the terrible ones, but very few! :) Our very close friends came down to surprise John for his 29th birthday which was a blast. I still can't believe John is going to be 30 next year! We also got to take the kids to a cool park that they loved (see post below). In between those two events there was lots of sickness. You name it, one of us had it.
TrestonMy poor little guy has had the worst month. In 3 short weeks he has had pneumonia, croup, a horrid stomach bug, and now he has an ear infection and pink eye. Is that one sad looking kid or what?
AddisonAs usual Addi is giving me a run for my money. It's a good thing she's cute! :) She is going stir crazy since we haven't been able to do much the past few weeks. We have big plans for Lydia's birthday this weekend so hopefully we'll get some of that energy out.
LydiaMs. Lydia has had a good month. I had a conference with her new teacher who said she is doing great. She's also been a huge helper around the house since I've had my hands full with Treston. We are all excited for her birthday next week. We are taking her to Chuck-e-Cheese and then she and I are going to go see the new Alice in Wonderland movie. I am hoping that it's not too scary but we can always leave and go shopping at the mall. :)
JohnnyJohn and I met 10 years ago on President's Day weekend. I have no clue where the time has gone. He is going to be leaving on the 21st for 6 weeks...sigh...I hate it when he leaves. John likes to think of it as practice for his next deployment but I'm still sad. Been there done that, I don't need practice. :)
